Earlier this month CURA had to opportunity to participate in Westfest 2019, held on the West Campus of the Ohio State University.

Westfest is an annual, free public event showcasing sustainability and outreach at OSU and beyond. At this event participating departments and organizations display hands-on activities highlighting research at Ohio State. This event featured tours of the Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center, Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center, Ohio Sea Grant, and the Center for Automotive Research. CURA provided a fun hands-on mapping activity where kids of all ages could learn a little about mapping.

Westfest featured exhibits from over 20 departments and organizations.
