I am originally from Appalachia and grew up near the Wayne National Forest. I am currently completing my B.S. in Geographic Information Science and Air Transportation with minors in Atmospheric Sciences and Security and Intelligence. I am a member of the honors program and Eminence Fellowship at Ohio State University, where I was involved in a project focused on food accessibility in Columbus, OH. Most of my experience in the Department of Geography has been cartography and spatial analysis. I am familiar with python, arcpy, R, SQL, and Matlab, which I have incorporated into my GIS projects. I am most interested in using GIS to study the areas of accessibility, environmental issues, and minority disparities. My past research and projects have included the topics of food accessibility, socio-economic inequality, racial disparities, political maps, aid rates and healthcare accessibility, and deforestation.
