Gavin has lived in Columbus, Ohio his whole life, apart from one year in Taoyuan, Taiwan with the Rotary Youth Exchange program, for which he is now a mentor to local exchange students. He enjoys analyzing the built environment from social and cultural perspectives. Last summer, Gavin worked on transportation projects such as LinkUS bus rapid transit, shared-use path installations, and streetscape improvements for the City of Columbus through the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission summer internship program. He now assists with CURA's Ghost Neighborhoods project, performing archival research and developing Story Maps.
