Jimin is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography at The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on 3D geospatial data, LiDAR, digital twins, and spatial data science for analyzing built environments. Before joining Ohio State, she worked at the Architecture & Urban Research Institute (AURI) in Korea and completed her B.A. and M.S. in Geography at Kyung Hee University. Her master’s research developed an automated LiDAR-to-CityGML framework for 3D urban modeling and building energy analysis.
