Yongki Kim is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Geography at The Ohio State University. Drawing on network analysis and spatial statistics, his research examines how transportation networks shape accessibility, developing path-based analytical frameworks to trace how movement is routed across multimodal systems. He aims to build a spatially grounded account of equity in the built environment by identifying the populations and places that aggregate measures can overlook. Before joining OSU, Yongki completed his B.A. and M.A. in Geography at Seoul National University, where he studied the relationship between real estate supply markets and logistics transport costs, and how different network morphologies affect accessibility.
