Public Data for the Public Good | Summer 2025
This summer, CURA and the Research Commons hosted a series of presentations on the importance and impacts of public data access, use, and preservation. Speakers will discuss roles we can play in our local data ecosystems, efforts to ensure that public data remain available for current and future users, and ways that public data are being utilized to better the lives of individuals and empower communities for the public good.

This fall, CURA is proud to co-sponsor "Data for Access and Opportunity" with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission and the Kirwan Institute on the Study of Race and Ethnicity. This series will examine How is data being used in ways that impact the opportunities and access afforded to people? We will hear from experts thinking about these issues from different disciplines and focus areas.
