Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Undesign the Redline Panel

Members of Panel

In July, CURA's Outreach Coordinator, Gerika Logan, participated in a panel Hosted by Franklin County Treasurer Cheryl Brooks Sullivan & Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Eileen Paley. This panel of three generations discussed the Undesign The Redline Exhibit that is currently on display at the King Arts Complex.

Undesign the Redline is an interactive exhibit that explores the history of structural racism caused by the 1938 redlining maps and how this inequality continues to impact our communities today, focusing on the ways in which we can come together to “undesign” these systems with intentionality. CURA's Ghost Neighborhoods of Columbus project is displayed in this exhibit.
