CURA Awards Two Travel Grants

Tampa
CURA has awarded student travel grants to Calvin Tribby and Hongshuo Wang. Tribby is a PhD student in the Geography Department, and Wang is a post-doctoral researcher in the same department. Both will be attending the American Association of Geographers Annual Meeting in Tampa this April.
 
Tribby will be presenting his research entitled "Assessing Built Environment Walkability within Individual Activity Spaces."
 
And Wang will be presenting his research entitled "Regional Watch of Crop Responses to Climate Change in China with Remotely Sensed Data and Climatic Data."
 
CURA awards up to 20 Travel Grants per calendar year. OSU graduate students whose abstracts have been accepted at conferences with urban and regional studies themes are encouraged to apply using the form on our website.
