Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. Tampa

Four CURA affiliates presented their work last week at the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers in Tampa, Florida. These PhD students are working on some of the key issues in urban and regional studies, from food and energy to walkability and economic development.

Peter Chen presented his work entitled “Does Food Access Influence Individual Food Choices? A Space-time Analysis through ‘Tweets.’” Peter will be graduating with a PhD in Geography this May.

Julia Elmer presented her work entitled “Neighborhood Economic Impacts of Hispanic-Owned Businesses in Three Ohio Cities.” Julia plans to complete her PhD in City and Regional Planning in May 2015.

Shaun Fontanella presented his work entitled “Investigating the Use of an Energy Information System to Decrease Electricity Consumption in Multi-Tenant Buildings.” Shaun plans to complete his PhD in Geography in May 2015.

Calvin Tribby presented his work entitled “Assessing Built Environment Walkability within Individual Activity Spaces.” Calvin plans to complete his PhD in Geography in May 2015.
