CURA is excited to be featured in the Poindexter Village African American Museum’s temporary pop-up this summer. Visitors can learn more about the history of Poindexter Village and the vision for the future museum, while also exploring CURA’s 3D models from the Ghost Neighborhoods of Columbus project. The pop-up also includes oral histories and historic artifacts that will be part of the permanent museum and invites community members to share their feedback.
The pop-up is located next to the future museum site in the basement of Union Grove Baptist Church (266 N. Champion Ave, Columbus, OH 43203). CURA will be on site from 12–2 p.m. on June 11, July 2, July 30, and August 6. Stay tuned for additional dates this fall!
