CURA would like to invite you to join the conversation with the Ohio State's Alliance for the American Dream to identify ideas to create a stronger middle class in Central Ohio and foster true social mobility.
Schmidt Futures, a new philanthropic arm of former Google and Alphabet CEO Eric Schmidt, reached out to The Ohio State University, Arizona State University, the University of Utah and the University of Wisconsin in 2018 to create what they called The Alliance for the American Dream, intended to generate ideas to raise the income, or reduce expenses by 10% for 10,000 middle class families by the end of 2022. Schmidt Futures has invested $2.3 Million thus far in our community in support of, what they describe as, an incentive driven idea and fundraising effort.
