In October, we spoke about CURA's GIS Project Manager Adam Porr and Outreach Coordinator Katie Phillips attending and presenting at the 2019 Ohio GIS Conference. Their presentation was on Geospatial Web Apps for All. The presentation aimed to show how custom web mapping applications can help share data stories to a non-expert audience. They demonstrated an example web application that they created and walked the audience through creating simple web mapping application from start to finish, using only open source tools and no coding required using QGIS and Leaflet.
