Tim Matisziw is a post-doctoral fellow currently involved
in a variety of CURA research projects.
Tim received his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Missouri-Columbia
and his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
His research interests include location modeling and spatial analysis
with particular emphasis on network optimization and evaluation of critical
infrastructure. Recent research
projects have addressed issues in bus routing, location of service facilities,
nature reserve design, improvement of highway infrastructure, and network interdiction.

Wenqin
Chen has a BA in urban planning from Tongii University, Shanghai,
and a Master of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of
Illinois at Chicago. She joins CURA from MORPC, the Mid-Ohio
Regional Planning Commission, where she served as GIS Coordinator
in the Information Technology and Services Department. Wenqin was
responsible for coordinating agency-wide GIS development and
activities; managing GIS hardware and software including ArcInfo,
ArcView, and ArcIMS; maintaining GIS databases; and developing GIS
applications for planning activities. She also served as liaison
with outside agencies promoting cooperative information sharing.
Wenqin has also worked with the MORPC Department of
Transportation, the OSU Center for Mapping, and the National
Training and Information Center, Chicago. |

Stephanie Max is the program assistant for CURA. She joined the center in
November 2006. Stephanie has a BA from Bowing Green State University. She has
worked in a variety of office settings, most recently in procurement. |
