Sandy Wong is a health geographer who broadly studies how our social, built, and natural environments influence the well-being of marginalized communities. She teaches courses on the theory and practice of GIS, health geography, and land use. Her current research includes collaborative projects on: (1) green space access for people with disabilities, (2) nursing home experiences during covid-19, and (3) inequalities in healthcare access.
